If you are looking to start as a graphic designer, you need to know the core knowledge of graphic design, such as:

  • How to visualize designs

  • How to create a design

  • How to balance contrast

  • How to use typography

  • How to master tools like Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Photoshop, etc.

But if you want to start graphic design as a beginner, don’t overthink it. Start simple.

  • Understand what graphic design really is

    Graphic design is not just making things look beautiful. It is about solving problems through visuals. A design should communicate a message clearly. Always ask yourself: What is this design trying to say?

    You don’t need expensive software in the beginning. Start with Canva. It is beginner-friendly and helps you understand layout and balance. Later, you can learn Photoshop or Illustrator.This is very important.
